Last time i wrote on this Site i said my alternator went, well i changed that and The battery is full power. Now the car won't Start. I checked the Ignition fuse, its Good. Fuel pump works. Also new Starter. I Changed both Coil packs. Still no spark. We hooked up one of those things that reads the cars computer and it came back with nothing. I heard it could be the Timing belt or Oc sensor or a couple of other things i forgot already. I have called every person i could think of about this. Please let me know what you think it might be. There are only so many things it could possibly be if there is no fire I would check all of the grounding points first. I had a big problem with coils on my sunfire test them as well if no luck. I will dig up the chiltons here and get back with you if you dont figure it out today |

Amp I would suggest getting spares. Like I said before I replaced the coils many times. to much to count. also keep the terminals spotless as well. in a junk yard the 4 cyl S10, cavalier, sunfire, beretta, all 4 cyl 2.2 and I am sure others all used the same coils. I just went to the yard for all of mine last year. For the price of new you can get quite a few used ones. I would lean more toward quanity than quality. I can think of numerous others that have had this same issue. When I sold my sunfire I gave them the one installed along with 2 more and told the always keep one with with the car at all times |
